The U.S. Army Black Aviation Association (USABAA), Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has a foundation of seasoned Army Aviation Professionals dedicated to mentoring, coaching and encouraging active duty soldiers to take full advantage of career development opportunities; encouraging youth of all ethnic backgrounds and gender who display a desire and interests in aviation to pursue a aviation professional career in the military and/or commercial sector, or only as a recreational hobby. Also in keeping our founders’ mandate and vision, we identify and recognize the contributions of African Americans in the field of aviation. And strive to provide the latest aviation related information to its membership and interested young people. Additionally and importantly, USABAA promotes health, fitness and wellness for its members, their family members, aspiring aviation professionals; and the larger community we serve. USABAA encourages good communication between Aviators and other aviation specialties of the Active Army, Army Reserves, Army National Guards and Retired Communities. We also, encourage and facilitate employment opportunities for Blacks and other minorities in every aviation discipline.
